This Herreshoff 58 ketch was built in 1962 by Astilleros Mallorca (Mallorca, Spain) with drawings from 1931. The yacht completed a circumnavigation and a half over several decades with its original owner and his family. She was totally refitted by Charpentiers Réunis Méditerranée at La Ciotat over a period of three years from 2011 and was re-launched in April 2014.
In 2013 the wood above the waterline, Oregon pine, and below the waterline, Iroko planking, was replaced, as was the oak for the frames and the teak for the deck.…
