S/V Galaxsea: A 2019 Bali 5.4 With a Charter Track Record

Six ensuite cabins, a tilting garage door and a proven BVI charter history — this 54-foot catamaran is built for both income and escape.

Now based in the British Virgin Islands, S/V Galaxsea is a 2019 Bali 5.4 that the walkthrough video presents as three boats in one: a floating villa, an entertainer’s platform, and a capable passage maker. Built by the Catana Group, the 54-footer leans hard into Bali’s open-space philosophy — and the video makes clear just how much that shapes daily life aboard.

One Living Space, Inside and Out

The signature feature is the tilting garage door at the stern. Raised, it dissolves the boundary between cockpit and salon, creating a single expansive room that flows from the helm-side seating right out to the aft deck. Panoramic windows wrap the interior in natural light and near-360-degree views, while the galley is fitted with full-sized refrigerators, high-end appliances and genuinely usable counter space — the sort of setup that matters when you’re feeding a full boat.

Six Cabins, Six Heads

Galaxsea is laid out in a six-cabin configuration, each with its own ensuite — the arrangement that made her a successful charter yacht in the Virgin Islands. For a buyer, that means the layout, systems and features are already in place to keep generating income, or to be repurposed for private family cruising in the Caribbean and beyond.

On Deck and Under Sail

Topside, the video highlights multiple zones: a spacious flybridge that doubles as the navigation station and sundowner spot, the aft cockpit, and a foredeck lounge. Under sail, the boat is described as smooth and stable, with a powerful sail plan, self-tacking jib and high bridge deck clearance.

They continued their exploration of the South and North Pacific, until they settled for eight years on a deserted atoll in the Marshall Islands. While there, his parent’s interest in marine biology led them to develop an aquaculture farm cultivating giant clams. During Ocean’s years on the clam farm, he occupied his time by mastering all the water sports available to him. When he was eight, Ocean and his parents continued sailing through Micronesia, the Philippines, Borneo, Malaysia and eventually Thailand. After crossing the Indian ocean to Africa, via the Maldives and the Seychelles islands . When Catania arrived in the Caribbean after crossing the Atlantic Ocean left his home of 18 years to pursue his own life and career as a captain.
