M/Y Rosalee is a Scottsboro, Alabama based 1983 Bertram 42 Motor Yacht For Sale By Broker. Responses to inquiries may come from a broker who is representing the owner as a fiduciary. This owner requires financial settlement only. No trades.
Bertram has a well-deserved reputation for building rugged, high-quality, well-built boats. Flush-deck motor yachts like the Bertram 42 are seldom seen these days, but back in the day this was the way most motor yachts were designed. With her traditional lines and solid fiberglass construction, the Bertram 42 is one of the few motor yachts her size built on a deep-V hull.
By today’s standards, the interior floorplan of the 42 is very unusual; the large mid-level galley is forward. A hallway to starboard opens to the forward V-berth cabin with private head and shower.
The salon features an all-teak interior which has recently been refinished and has been updated with new seating and a large flat-screen TV. Aft of the salon is the full-beam master stateroom with two full-size beds, private head and shower, vanity, and large hanging lockers.
With her proven deep-V hull, the Bertram 42 can handle sea conditions that keep other motor yachts her size in port. This vessel is powered by the original twin Detroit Diesel 6-71TI engines and cruises at 21 knots. She has spent her entire life in fresh water or in heated storage.
