- The current owners of Physalia have lived aboard for the past five years while successfully operating a crewed yacht charter business throughout the Virgin Islands. During each off-season, they relocated the vessel to Grenada for scheduled maintenance and storage.
- Each year, the vessel was hauled out, stored ashore, and received fresh bottom paint, a thorough interior deep cleaning, complete engine servicing, and sail removal for storage and any necessary repairs.
