S/V WAY MAKER is a Deale, Maryland based 2010 Leopard 38 For Sale By Broker. Responses to inquiries may come from a broker who is representing the owner as a fiduciary. This owner requires financial settlement only. No trades.

In a world of ever-increasing prices and where the marine industry charges by the foot, a reliable cruising platform in a smaller form factor makes great sense for those of us looking to manage costs. Welcome aboard WAY MAKER, a 2010 Leopard 38 sailing catamaran located in Deale, MD.

The Leopard 38 won accolades from the major sailing publications upon her debut in 2010. They have continued to be solid performers and, with less than 4 feet of draft, are perfect for gunkholing around the Chesapeake, exploring the backcountry of the Florida Keys, or getting in close to the beautiful beaches of the Bahamas.

WAY MAKER is located in an affordable slip at a great marina, steps from the clubhouse and pool areas. The current owners have had her hauled each winter and kept on the hard, with fresh bottom paint added each spring.

Bill Regan

By Bill Regan

Bill has been a yacht broker for over 13 years and in that time has sold everything from deck boats to schooners…and a lot of catamarans.

He got bitten by the sailing bug on his honeymoon in Jamaica when the local Watersports instructor pushed him off from the beach with the helpful advice of “Don’t go to Cuba!” Shortly thereafter he purchased his first boat in upstate NY, an O’Day 17, and spent the next few years learning on local lakes.

In 2010, Bill and his wife, Trisha, made the drastic change from Albany, NY to Key Largo, FL, and never looked back. The next few years saw them living aboard, delivering boats, cruising The Bahamas and East Coast, working in the Watersports industry and attaining a 100-ton USCG Masters license with sailing endorsement.

Bill has spent time aboard boats throughout the Caribbean, including a trip through the Panama Canal. Recently, he embarked on a voyage that took Trish and his daughter, Finley, from Clearwater, FL back through The Keys to The Bahamas and up the coast to their new port in Baltimore, MD.

For the past 7 years, he worked for The Moorings and Leopard Catamarans. As a boat owner and cruiser, Bill has outfitted and upgraded his own boat and is happy to share his experiences.

Bill has extensive experience doing just what his clients are setting out to do: making big life changes and taking on a lifestyle that is challenging yet rewarding beyond measure. He is always grateful to have a part in making his clients dreams come true. Bill is happy to speak to you about making your cruising dreams a reality, and he has firsthand knowledge of living aboard with a child.

When not sailing his Jeanneau 44i, Bill can be found playing guitar or planning his family’s next adventure.
