History of S/V Dandelion: The sailing vessel Dandelion was launched in 2002, originally in partnership with my previous business associate and then he and his family left to explore various destinations, including New Zealand and the islands of the Java Sea, finally making their way to Mahé, Seychelles. It was in 2009 that I took over the vessel.
From 2009 to 2016, Dandelion, myself and partner embarked on extensive sailing adventures along the East African coast and Madagascar, exploring the diverse cultures and landscapes of the region. In 2016, we set sail from Cape Town toward the Caribbean and ventured into the Pacific, focusing on discovering the enchanting islands of the South Pacific. Over the past sixteen years, we have created unforgettable memories and experiences across these beautiful waters.
