Low Profile is a well maintained and thoughtfully equipped 2004 Sea Ray 455 Sundancer offered in Barbados. This popular 44-foot express cruiser combines proven performance, comfortable accommodation, and robust systems for coastal and extended cruising. She has been carefully looked after and is presented in excellent condition for her age with solid original systems and sensible upgrades. She has even received regular ceramic hull coatings.

Powered by twin diesel engines, Low Profile delivers confident cruising with effortless acceleration and reliable performance. The vessel benefits from traditional Sea Ray V-drive propulsion. A recently installed generator provides dependable auxiliary power for air conditioning and domestic loads.

Low Profile’s tankage is well suited to extended stays aboard, and her shallow draft allows access to many Caribbean anchorages and harbors. The wide beam yields generous interior volume and stability underway.

The interior layout offers comfortable accommodation for family and guests with two well-appointed cabins and two heads with marine toilets and separate showers. The forward master features a centerline queen berth and ensuite head, while the aft cabin offers a double berth with convertible lounge space. The main salon is bright and open with seating, entertainment systems, and excellent storage throughout.

Comfort and convenience are priorities below, with a fully equipped galley featuring an electric cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator and freezer units. A flat-screen television and abundant cabinet space make life aboard easy for extended stays.

Systems are solid with air conditioning throughout, an efficient freshwater pressure system, and dedicated fire suppression in the engine compartment. Low Profile also features an electric windlass and a suite of navigation electronics appropriate for cruising.

Deck spaces are practical and functional with an extended swim platform, deep cockpit seating, and walkaround decks for safe movement when underway. Tender handling is facilitated by davits to hoist a tender onto the swim platform.

Low Profile is competitively positioned in Barbados and represents a strong value in the Sundancer market. The Sea Ray 455 is known for its balance of performance, comfort, and style, and this example, with attentively maintained engines, a recent generator, sensible tank capacities, and classic Sea Ray build quality, presents a compelling choice for a new owner. She’s in the water and ready to cruise!

By Chris Burke

Chris was born into a serious sailing family, growing up he had a passion for sailing, fishing, and diving. Every weekend was spent on the water and holidays were cruising the Grenadines and Windward Islands.

His passion for the sea has lasted, and before joining us at B.V.I. Yacht Sales Chris was a charter captain in the sportfishing industry.

He has been helping owners of vessels based in the Caribbean for the past 5 years, from his base in Barbados. His long background with all the factors of sailing, fishing and all things boating in the Caribbean means he is an excellent resource in figuring out where to place your boat for the best sale, or how to get the best sale whichever island you are on.
